FAQ's for Teachers:

Why should we use Eureka rather than just manage enterprise education ourselves?

• Teachers tell us that they are already over-burdened by the demands of the national curriculum and a myriad of government initiaitves they are required to implement. So it's often the case that time just isn't availble to develop and run enterprise sessions. Also many teachers say that they have never worked in business or been trained in any business curriculum and hence feel ill-equipped to teach enterprise and hence are much happier having Eureka come and take that burden off them.

Why can't we just buy/ use some material and use that to run entereprise sessions ourselves?

• You can and there are many good programmes out there. The only downside is the time and knowledge needed to execute the materials well are not alaways there.The Eureka training Team are all people who have extensive business experience, often coupled with some knowledge of training and educational environments. It is the experience and exertise of the facilitators that makes enterprise education come alive and reflect a real world experience for the students, rather than a more theoretical one.

What involvement do I need to have when the Eureka team are running a programme with my class?

• We would invite you to join in with our program to ensure consistency. However, we lead the workshop guided by you in terms of routine, discipline and structure of the day.

What benefits will my child get from participating in this?

• Your child will receive a whole host of benefits which would be reflected in the knowledge and an understanding of money, business and enterprise.
